Wind Beneath My Wings

The excitement and anxiousness filled my muscles and bones,

I was about to do something utterly and completely crazy,

You came with me and were there every step of the way,

You didn’t hold my hand but never took your eye off me,

I know you were feeling those same feelings as I was,

Something so life changing engraved in my body forever,

The black ink was slowly drenched and pierced in my skin,

Never will it ever leave my snow white pale skin,

It is something special that only you and I will ever understand,

You will be forever and always, the wind beneath my wings.
